Mathematics Rotations

We really enjoy rotations during Mathematics. Students work in small groups independently or with teacher support as needed. There is normally an activity on the computer which is very popular and a great way to get immediate feedback on progress with a concept. Another group is normally playing 'Numero' which is the favourite choice. All the students are improving their mental maths skills and are becoming more confident with different operations through the playing of a game. We have now had two (2) students win a Numero Challenge in the West Australian paper - congratulations to Hannah and Lucy.
