WA Day
We celebrated Western Australia Day on Monday, 5th June to remember the founding of the Swan River Colony in 1829. As part of our celebrations of this day, students chose their favourite place in Western Australia and made a postcard for their buddy in Room 29 and vice versa. Students described the place and explained why they liked this part of Western Australia. We then got together with our buddy class to share our postcards. We all agreed that there are some fabulous places here in Western Australia.
