Super Scientist Term 2

Throughout Week 5, students are required to present an experiment based on a Science concept, as part of our whole school Super Scientist Competition. This presentation should be no longer than 6(six) minutes in length. The main purpose of the presentation is to explain the science behind what is happening, not just present an amazing experiment.

Your experiment should cover the following:

·         Name of experiment

·         Materials

·         Method

·         Scientific explanation

·         Reflection on task and why you chose this experiment

Your presentation will be assessed on:

·         the accuracy of the science content,

·         how clear your explanation is that accompanies

           your experiment

·         the detail and research shown in your background 

           knowledge

·         your use of scientific language

·         your presentation and showmanship

·         your speaking skills

·         that you demonstrate engagement with the  

           audience
