Harmony Day 2016

On Wednesday, 23 March the school celebrated Harmony Day. The theme this year was “Diversity is our strength’. In class we discussed our differences and the students reflected on how diversity improves our classroom, country and the world. I was very pleased to see many students dress up in their national dress or wear orange to promote this special day. The Harmony Day Parade was very colourful with a fabulous selection of music to keep us all dancing. The Art Installation created by Miss Randall and the students was terrific. The walls were decorated with messages of harmony on each brick. This is a fabulous celebration of our multi-cultural school and world and encourages us all to empathise with others.
