On Friday, 18 March we took several teams from
Years 5 & 6 to compete at Cricket, Softball and Volleyball. We were a bit
worried about the weather but the wind eventually dropped, the rain stayed away
and if fact we all got quite hot. It was a pleasure to be involved with the
different teams and all the students behaved in the Wattle Grove Way.
I was especially proud of the Volleyball teams as this is a sport we play rarely. The students were all very supportive of each other and showed good sportsmanship. Both teams improved as the carnival progressed and all improved their skills. It was a bonus to discover the “A’ team had won their part of the competition.
Congratulation to all competitors.
