Super Scientist Term 2

Throughout Week 5 & 6 students are required to present an experiment based on a Science concept, as part of our whole school Super Scientist Competition. This presentation should be no longer than 5 (five) minutes in length. The main purpose of the presentation is to explain the science behind what is happening, not just present an amazing experiment. Please click on the picture to find out the details being asked for. Try to link your science experiment to real world applications.Image result for scientist investigationThe schedules for student are shown below.  ANZAC Service

The ANZAC Ceremony on the last week of Term 1 was a very moving event. Congratulations to Dean whose poem was one of those selected to be read at the ceremony. It was lovely to see two members of our class who belong to Scouts and the Girl's Brigade also participating in the ceremony.

Summer Carnival

Congratulations to all the students who competed at the carnival at the end of Term 1. It was a pleasure to see you all competing on the day and demonstrating good sportsmanship. I really enjoyed working with the two volleyball teams on the lead-up to the carnival. It was great to see the commitment the students made in learning this game. On the carnival day, we improved our skills so much that both teams won the trophy.
