Parliament House visit

Congratulations to Sharon who was selected for a special trip to Parliament House in Week Seven. Sharon, along with seven other students and Mrs Grainger had a wonderful opportunity to visit the house and enjoy a wonderful lunch with Mr Price, our MLA for Forrestfield.
STEM

As part of our Science program, students had an opportunity to design and make a tower that would withstand an earthquake. We had some wonderful designs with many towers withstanding the earthquake. The tallest tower was won by Logan with his amazing structure.

Pre-Service Teacher

This term the class has welcomed Miss Beard to the classroom. She will be working in the class until the end of term.

Image result for note from the teacherMy name is Tanisha Beard and I am studying a Bachelor of Education, Primary, at the University of Notre Dame in Fremantle. I am delighted to be working with the Year Sixes in Mrs Lowther's class as an undergraduate student. I am in my second year of my course and I am really enjoying spending time here. Mrs Lowther is an amazing mentor and I am enjoying working with her and learning the ropes to become an inspiring teacher. I look forward to working with all the students and teachers.
