Wow Writing

As part of our work on poetry, students wrote a poem using the rhythm and rhyme of the famous Australian poem “My Country” by Dorothea Mackellar. We brainstormed lots of ideas about Australia and analysed the original poem. Here is a selection of some of the students’ work.
